A SNAKE EYE VIEW.............

Buh ay-ay..!   Jus’ so–jus’ so de t’ing done...?!   Ouiii foute!    Well I say after all de cutlass an’ t’ing dat pull, it woulda have blood  in de place…..  de president decide tuh take de  "advice"  of de prime monster (oh shucks .., sorry, but wha’ happen tuh meh spellin’…?), ah mean, prime minister an’ put de new senators in de cabinet…    So ah suppose dese two go remain once dey vote everyway wit’ de government, an’ once dey vote or have any reservations, is either shut up or get to hell out….!

Freedom of speech, conscience or opinion out de door an’ dong de road…. Governance BY de people in yuh pfeffen….! (yuh know wha' does happen when yuh put "make up screw" in ah cabinet ?)... 

But anyway ah off de topic..  what de Cobra t’ink ‘bout de PM an’ de President behaviour, an’ how dey coulda solve it easy…. check it out…. when PM Manday decide tuh throw de two senator out an’ inform de president de same day (like he orderin’ pizza, he expect everyt’ing tuh happen in half an hour) .. ah agree wit’ Rob-we.. yuh eh tell or consult wit’ meh, an’ yuh jus’ expect meh to sign as t’ough is two rock cake ah buyin’ in Miss Mary Bakery out de road..?   

Nah, man.. check de Constitution an’ see how it suppose tuh happen…me eh know why he make it public, but anyway all Manday had to do was go to de man house, say two words, get he t’ing sign an’ matter done…but no, dat woulda be logical, an’ yuh mus’ be wrong an’ strong an’  STUPID!   After yuh get it sign, yuh coulda t’row yuh two words to salvage yuh pride an’ t’ings fix…. ent?

W’ether  de president  had motive for makin’ it public or w’ether he motives good eh de point,  jus’ follow de law, an’ nobody coulda fault yuh… so wey de constitutional crisis?   Two big men behavin’ like l’il boy is ah crisis?    Boy, it have no law dat could change dat….. so doh tamper wit’ de constitution for stupidness… which brings meh to ah nex’ important point (but wha I sayin’…? All my points important..!):  Ah hear Manday say dat de people vote he in, so when de pres. refuse tuh abide by he decision, he goin’ against de will of de people…. 

If he as dotish as he soun’ we in real trouble…!   Firs’, he in gov’t because he get 2 seats from de NAR, so he wasn’t vote in by de people, den he buy two carrion crow from de PNM, so he had ah house majority (de people did agree tuh dat…?   Yuh vote ah man in a certain party an’ de man gone over quick as yuh switch on ah light…. we is de bes’ yes… if I was in dat constituency bullpistle woulda get ah workout.. yuh eh even consult wit’ yuh voters, yuh jump ship….?)….

An’ more importantly, no party in Trinidad EVER get 50 % of de elctorate vote, so is always ah minority party in office…if more dan 50% of de people eh vote for yuh, or fin’ alyuh so unimportant, dey eh turn out tuh vote, how yuh could claim tuh represent de people… you is ah contortionist of truth…!    

So tuh me, you suppose tuh make sure dat everybody agree wit’ yuh tuh ensure de people get dey view…. so all dis nonsense about de country cyah function if yuh doh have ah good majority in de house is pure goat channa…..!   Yuh never had ah majority anyway, so work wit’ de Opposition etc., an’ see dat everybody have dey say, rather dan try an’ bulldoze everyt’ing…..

But de Cobra go res’ on dat for now.. alyuh have enough tuh t’ink about for de week….

CHILREN GO TUH SCHOOL TUH (GUN) PLAY.....

Ay-ya-yai!  Ah jump when ah hear dis one… ah man walk in ah school in broad daylight wit’ ah gun an’ rob ah teacher an’ student… an’ ah nex parent come in school an’ raise big knife because dey confiscate ah chile shoes (it was de wrong colour)… 

Dey should ban some people from havin’ chilren…..!   When yuh buy de shoes yuh didn’t know it had ah school uniform..an’ wha happen, yuh t’ink dey go sell de shoes.. an’ what de knife for..yuh is ah part time butcher…?   

Wey we goin’ alyuh, wey we goin…?  Anyhow de national  Parents/Teachers Association (PTA) sayin how dey fear for de teacher an’ chilren an’ it should have armed guards on some school compound…..   

One time dey Cobra start tuh show he fangs…nah, dis one cyah pass meh by…!   Brudder, ah doh feel comfortable wit’ no setta gun totin’ people aroun’ school…   Look, de kinda bandits it have now, dey go take dat gun from he an’ is ah nex’ gun loose in de country… an’ furthermore when dey go use de gun…?   Yuh have tuh consider ah school is ah crowded place an’ if any gun play break out, who is de mos’ likely one tuh get hit..?  Not some poor chile…?  An’ if is ah student who say, pull ah knife on anodder one, yuh go shoot de chile….?   

Nah man, we lettin’ t’ings go to we head (in fact, maybe it eh reach dey yet, because if yuh t’ink l’il bit yuh could see dat eh feasible)… an’ furthermore, me eh like de idea of chilren growin’ up seein’ gun round dem…dey go get too comfortable wit’ de idea dat tuh solve violence an’ crime, is to leggo some shot in somebody tail……!  

Ah have tuh back de lady minister on dis one… she on de right track (she eh give she reasons, but ah agree wit’ she…).   Let dem get dem hand scanner for metal, an’ if ah school is high risk, have ah more regular police patrol….   

An’ yuh see again, if dey jus’ ask de Cobra, ah go shed light on de situation….. crime an’ violence is symptons of  ah problem… breakdown in de social system, so spend yuh money on social an’ rehabilitative programs an’ crime go decrease… start area by area…dat is how yuh solve crime… of course yuh have de law for de few who refuse tuh follow….. buh as is, schools involved… remember..  every tree was plant once….. dem criminals was once in school, so wey is ah good place tuh start.. aiiiieee!  Yuh bright !

BEETHAM HIGHWAY... (ROBBERY)....

Ah nearly fall off meh chair when ah hear dis one… traffic jam on de highway an’ nex’ t’ing….. PISSHING!  PISSHING!  Big stone, an’ is because some youth man out from by de dump, hol’ up de drivers an’ is highway robbery (literally!)…..

Motorists sid dong in dey car quakin’, ah woman lose she gold bracelet…dey snatch it off she han.. ! Man take matresss, food, watever de fin’.. an’ dey manage tuh stack dem, make trip an’ de t'ings carry off  before police reach, even though people say dey call de police right away..   Police make search, dey eh fin’ nothin…. but dem people is somet’ing else an’ ah l’il piece on top….! 

Yuh hear how dey does t’row mannequin in de road late in de night, an’ when de poor driver stop, t’inkin’ he run over somebody is BOODOP!  BOOP!  Cuff, kick, take car an’ /or rob yuh….. or t’row bottle or nail on de road, an’ when yuh tyre flat yuh luck run out…! 

An’ doh play yuh stallin’ dey in de night, yuh know… man yuh better have runnin’ shoes an’ wing on yuh ankles…..  Recently ah ice cream truck shut down, dey make de driver open de back of de truck an’ t’ief de ice cream…. Oh LORD, man!  What yuh go t’ief again…..?!   Big man t’iefin ICE CREAM?! ICE CREAM?!

Some people say dey poor so yuh have tuh understan’…. understan’ what?  ...Dat because I work for meh t’ing I mus’ suffer for bein’ successful…..?!  Come again….. make sense dis time!   Ah quite agree t’ings bad, so who de man dey should be harassin’ is de gov’t rep for de area, not me….!   If dey have so much brain dey could plan robbery, den plan to ask for de government or social affairs to help out de area…..
